The Surf Cube is a Hero Item that lets you ride a hoverboard around the map in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super.

In Chapter 6 Season 3, there seems to be a lack of items that let you speed across the map, but the Surf Cube alleviates some of those pains. However, as the Surf Cube is a Hero Item, it isn’t commonly found. Luckily, there is one guaranteed way to get a Surf Cube every game.

Here’s how to get the Surf Cube in Fortnite and how to use it.

How to get the Surf Cube in Fortnite

The Surf Cube can be purchased from Lightrider at Shiny Shafts for 300 gold bars. However, Lightrider will only have one in stock, so you’ll need to be one of the first players to interact with her.

If the Surf Cube is out of stock, there’s a chance that you can find it in these locations:

1. Academy Tech Labs

2. B rank Hero Caches or higher

3. Hero Stands

4. Random chest loot

To ride the Surf Cube, you’ll need to press your shoot button, which will bring out a surfboard made of blue cubes. While you’re on the board, you can press either your sprint or aim button to get a speed boost and float into the air.
