Once Shogun’s Arena spawns, Shogun X is free to take on — for anyone left alive. As the islands appear once the fourth storm circle appears, there aren’t that many players alive, so there might not be a lot of players attempting the challenge. For those who want to risk their placement, here are a few things you should know about Shogun X’s abilities before fighting them:

• Shogun X will warp around Shogun’s Arena, so always be on the lookout for where Shogun X ends up. If they teleport away from you and direct their attacks somewhere else, another player has arrived on the islands.

• Shogun X will throw three fire oni masks at the player that can be avoided by running to the side.

• Shogun X will gather energy in his hands and unleash explosions on the ground. Avoid the circles on the ground to not take damage.

• Shogun X will sheathe his sword just before he is about to dash towards the player. As they sheathe their blade, crouch or slide to avoid the incoming dash attack.
